Ellie has been developing her sense of humor lately and is learning to tell jokes. She is fascinated with knock-knock jokes right now. We mainly stick to two basic knock-knock jokes -- the banana, banana, orange joke, and the boo-who joke -- but she seems to only be able to remember one punchline, so this is how the typical joke goes...Ellie: Knock, knock.
Mommy: Who's there?
Ellie: Banana.
Mommy: Banana who?
Ellie: Oh, don't cry it's just a joke.
I think this version of the joke may be funnier than the correct version!
