It has been way too long since I've updated the blog. Please forgive me. Life has been busy and crazy around the Freed house. Since I always backdate the posts to the day the actual pictures were taken, it may be hard to tell that it has been so long since the last post, but believe me, it has been.
Ellie was relieved to wake up on Easter morning to find that the Easter bunny actually did visit while she slept. Of course the Easter bunny, like Santa Claus, only visits girls and boys that have been very good, and Ellie pulled through in the home stretch to up her "good" factor so she could get a visit from the big, furry guy. All kidding aside, Ellie is a sweet girl who tries her best to please her parents, but sometimes that urge to push her little brother down is just too much to bear.
We colored and dyed Easter eggs the evening before Easter. Laura, Nate, and Ella joined us and Gran and Papi at the Freed house this year, and we had a nice Easter day.
Max and Ellie enjoyed searching for their Easter baskets in the morning, and were thrilled with their new goodies. Everyone looked so cute in their Easter outfits, but unfortunately, the picture below is the best one we got. The lesson learned here is to take the family picture before church, because by the time you get home from church, there's not a lot of cooperation left in tired children.
We had to torture Max just a little longer in hopes that we could get at least one decent picture of him in his adorable duds, but he was having none of it.
